Arcadia Yachtsis preparing to premiere the new A80 model
The construction of the first hull of the 23.98-meter A80 yacht is in full swing at the Italian shipyard, and the official premiere is scheduled for this fall at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2025.
Arcadia A80 is a motor yacht belonging to the RPH (Raised Pilothouse) class, 23.98 meters long, which combines luxury and eco-friendliness. And one of the key factors in the development of the new model was the desire of the shipyard to create a vessel that would allow its owners to coexist in harmony with nature and not limit themselves in travel and mooring.
The forced restrictions in length, allowing the owners of the A80 to explore protected corners and drop anchor in places inaccessible to larger vessels, were compensated at the shipyard by the width of the hull of 6.96. This made it possible to achieve the volume of the 131 GT interior, place the master cabin on the main deck and four more on the lower level, place a separate area for four crew members and a well-equipped galley in the bow of the lower deck, and also get spacious external and internal recreation areas.
The increase in the volume of guest spaces was also due to the fact that the A80 is the first model for Arcadia Yachts with a raised wheelhouse. The upper deck, with an area of 80 sq. m., is the largest in its class. The open aft part can be furnished with outdoor furniture, and in the shade of the hardtop there is a multifunctional area that can be used for dining, relaxing or watching TV in the open air. There is also an external helm station, and in the bow there is another transformable lounge with a table and a sofa, which can be covered from the sun with an awning.
The main focus of the A80 is clearly on open spaces – in addition to those already mentioned, a large lounge area with sofas is located in the aft part of the main deck. It is separated from the beach club with a hydraulic bathing platform and folding bulwarks by several steps, so that these spaces can be used as a single area.
Even the saloon with a lounge and dining area can be quickly made open if desired, thanks to large sliding windows at the stern and on the port side.
Muted natural shades were chosen for the interiors, creating a calm atmosphere on board, allowing you not to lose the feeling of the sea around you. In the evening, adjustable LED lighting allows you to save electricity and create the right atmosphere by using different modes.
The solar panels that the new A80 will be equipped with are 98% more efficient than those installed on earlier ships of the shipyard, and also help to save fuel significantly. Its fuel tank holds 8,138 litres, while its fresh water tank holds 2,006 litres. According to Arcadia Yachts, at 12 knots the vessel consumes up to 12% less than the market average, and at 15 knots this figure rises to 27%. Overall, with the help of two Volvo IPS, the yacht can reach a maximum speed of 19-21 knots, depending on the chosen propulsion system.
A multifunctional garage for a tender and sports equipment, electric fin stabilizers from CMC Marine – all this will also be available on the new A80, “designed for curious and cosmopolitan owners who want to travel surrounded by nature anywhere and at any time of year.”
