Wallypower50X at the Miami International Boat Show
At the Discover Boating Miami International Boat Show, held from February 11th to 15th, Wally unveiled the world premiere of the Wallypower50X, a new addition to the Wallypower line. This 14.6-meter yacht is a high-speed dayboat with outboard motors. A similar boat with inboard motors has been in production since 2024.
The Wallypower50X inherits the signature features that have made the Wallypower line recognizable: a sharp profile and extensive glazing that combines aesthetics and functionality. Features such as Magic Portholes (a signature system that transmits images from external cameras to porthole-like screens in the cabin) provide virtually natural light while maintaining clean exterior lines, while a completely concealed anchoring system maintains the yacht’s minimalist appearance even at anchor.
The three-sided glazed cabin and spacious open deck reflect Wally’s commitment to balancing comfort and style. The streamlined layout ensures convenience and ergonomics both at anchor and underway. Thanks to its modular design, the Wallypower50X can be used in a variety of applications—as a support boat, a superyacht tender, a day cruiser, or a weekender. All configurations are designed for a comfortable stay on the water.
Folding side bulwarks increase the usable deck area by over 5 m², providing direct access to the water. The deck features two spacious sunpads and a dining area for eight in the shade of the hardtop. The lounge area and kitchenette are designed for active and relaxed relaxation onboard.
Below deck, the Wallypower50X features a living space with a double berth, a lounge area, and a head with a separate shower, making the yacht suitable not only for day cruises but also for weekends and medium-range cruising.
The Wallypower50X is the first model in the line to fully utilize the advantages of Mercury outboard engines. The standard propulsion system, featuring 425-hp Mercury Verado V10 engines, delivers a top speed of approximately 50 knots and a cruising speed of 34 knots.
An alternative configuration is available with 500-hp Mercury Racing V8 engines, mounted on the hull unveiled in Miami. This configuration delivers a top speed of 54 knots and a cruising speed of 36 knots.
The hull design, developed jointly by the Wally team and the Ferretti Group engineering department, ensures stability, control, and comfortable handling even at extreme speeds.
