The premiere of the 25th James Bond movie “No Time to Die” was planned in April 2020. However, the pandemic coronavirus has made its adjustments, and the intriguing premiere is postponed to the fall season. But some details of the upcoming story are still being known – such as what Agent 007’s watch will look like.
The legendary Bondiana is inextricably linked to the Omega watchmaker – in most films, this brand of timepieces has been emblazoned on the hands of the famed MI6 agent since 1995. Both Omega and Agent 007 are known for their style, reliability and spirit of adventure – they complement each other perfectly. The unlimited model will not only appear on the screen, but will also be included in the collection – Seamaster Diver 300M 007 Edition really deserves special attention.
The timepiece was designed to take into account the needs of military with the direct involvement of lead actor Daniel Craig and the film’s producers – Omega representatives were constantly clarifying what features the watch might need for the spy. And the tips of the actor really played an important role in the design – the watch became light with some vintage touches.
The 42mm case and wicker bracelet with an innovative adjustable clasp are made of Grade 2 titanium – a durable, lightweight that fits perfectly with Agent 007. To reduce the weight of the watch, the dial and bezel are made of tropical brown aluminum. Diver scale, blackening of arrows and indexes are covered with Super-LumiNova fluorescent composition.
The back cover of the watch is special. It engraves figures, each of which has its own meaning, as a clock on the military. “0552” is the code that identifies Navy officers (the first Bond service), and “923 7697” is the number of diver’s watches. The letter “A” is the code indicating the clock with the screw head and “007” is the number of the most famous secret agent. “62” means the year of the release of the first James Bond movie. In addition, the back cover has a NAIAD LOCK system that allows to set all the engraved inscriptions in the correct position.
The Seamaster Diver 300M 007 Edition is powered by the superb OMEGA Co-Axial Master Chronometer Caliber 8806, which meets the highest standards of accuracy, stability and resistance to external influences (including magnetic fields).
The model is available in two versions – with a braided titanium bracelet or NATO strap in a strip of dark brown, gray and beige with engraving “007” on the clasp. An exclusive canvas case of tropical brown is also included.
