69m Shape superyacht concept by Lazzarini
The Italian design studio, widely known for its eccentric creations, has unveiled another futuristic creation – a 69-meter superyacht. The concept, dubbed the Shape, has a truly unique silhouette with sleek lines and a glossy metallic hull that hints at future technology on board.
The outstanding feature is, as Lazzarini calls it, the “deck with a hole”. A superstructure with such a “hole” looks like a never-before-seen unique visual attraction. This open space in the central part of the main deck can be customized. As an option, leave this space empty so that it works as an area for relaxing in the sun. This deck is also equipped with steps leading down to the sea for diving.
The glass-bottomed infinity pool is located on the upper deck. This allows swimmers from above to look at those below, or vice versa. There is also a helipad here. Another open lounge area is on the deck below, while the beach club with a huge diving platform and solarium is adjoined by a garage for water toys.
The interiors are planned to be no less exciting. Living spaces are located aft and occupy two decks. Six VIP cabins are located on the lower level, and common guest spaces, including a jacuzzi, are on the deck above.
To top it all off, Shape is designed to run entirely on green energy. Solar panels on the upper deck speak eloquently of the fact that the superyacht will receive a hybrid power plant or will run on hydrogen. All in all, Shape really breaks all superyacht molds. Time will show how practical this concept will find its owner.
