The first hull of the flagship T60 Baglietto series has been launched
The 60.6-meter Baglietto T60 is a follow-up to the successful T52, which was named Best Motor Yacht Over 45 Meters at the 2024 World Superyacht Awards.
Baglietto decided to build on this success by expanding its T-Line range. The larger model was unveiled at the 2022 Monaco Yacht Show and found an owner almost immediately – the keel of the first T60 was laid in early 2023. The second hull was sold in 2024 and is scheduled for delivery in 2027, and two more T60 orders have recently been signed.
Francesco Paszkowski is once again the exterior designer for the series. It retains the recognizable signature features of Baglietto yachts, such as the superstructure pylons and long black glazing stripes along the hull, which lend a dynamic appearance to the exterior. However, the T60 has been significantly improved from a functional standpoint.
The upper deck, where the master suite is located, can serve as both the owner’s private terrace and a space for entertaining guests: it features a dining area, a lounge, and a sunbathing area with an optional Jacuzzi.
The large sundeck above is also impressive: the 165-square-meter terrace offers magnificent 360-degree views, while entertaining options include an open-air bow lounge, a large aft pool with sun loungers, and a dining nook with a bar protected by the hardtop.
And there’s even a two-level beach club! The solarium with a pool and bar seamlessly flows into the gym, complete with fold-down balconies on both sides. A dramatic open staircase connects the lower level with the cockpit and main saloon, whose rear glass wall can be completely removed to create a unified social space.
Working with interior architect Margherita Casprini, Paszkowski masterfully utilized the 1000 GT yacht’s expansive interior volume to create truly luxurious living for the T60’s twelve guests.
Two suites and two VIP cabins are located on the main deck, while a fifth guest cabin is located below (it can be converted into a games room or gym). The crew of 13-14 is accommodated in the secluded bow section of the vessel. There are also storage areas, including a wine cellar and refrigeration units, as well as a garage designed to accommodate a seven-meter tender, a RIB, and two jet skis.
A pair of CAT 3512C engines, each producing 2,250 hp, propel the steel T60 to a top speed of 16 knots, and at a cruising speed of 12 knots, the yacht has a range of 5,500 nautical miles. Furthermore, the yacht is pre-configured for hybrid propulsion.
At the T60’s launching ceremony in La Spezia, Baglietto CEO Diego Michele Deprati said: “A launch is always a moment of great emotion, because it culminates years of work and marks the realization of a dream—an owner’s dream that becomes our own. Today, these emotions are also fueled by the knowledge that we have written another important chapter in the history of our illustrious shipyard.”
