The winners of the BOAT International Design & Innovation Awards were announced at the annual superyacht design festival, which brought together the industry’s most renowned designers, naval architects and shipyards.

The awards, held in the Austrian ski town of Kitzbühel, celebrate everything from style and naval architecture to the pioneering innovations of modern superyachts. Among the distinguished line-up of finalists, the newly built Navetta 38 M/Y TELLI took pride of place. She was awarded in two categories: “Best Interior Design for a Motor Yacht up to 499GT and over 40m” and “Outstanding Exterior Design for a Motor Yacht between 24m and 41.9m”.

The jury noted the size of the windows, the abundance of mirrored surfaces and the connection between the exterior and interior spaces, the elegance and sophistication of the details combined with the soft color palette. They were particularly impressed by the exterior design, in which the architects made excellent use of the foredeck lounging area. In addition to the spacious and functional exterior living spaces, the judges praised Telli’s detailed styling, including the reverse chine that runs from bow to stern. Another distinctive design feature that they liked was the symmetry – the way the aft sections of the upper and main decks echo each other.

Custom Line’s reimagining of the Navetta 37 and 38 exterior hulls has allowed for functional modification and maximum use of the space in the bow deck, as well as the large sundeck and swim platform with opening wings on the sides that unfold at the water’s edge.
