Marex 390 Project. Family cruising on a new level

Scandinavian brand Marex has announced the launch of a new project for long-term family cruising – Marex 390. The company promises to present this high-speed cruiser at the Cannes Boat Show in September 2025.
With its modern design and supreme comfort, this 12-meter project has all the strengths of its older brother Marex 440 Scandinavia. The shipyard approached the creation of the new project with great responsibility: feedback from previous Marex owners was collected and taken into account in Marex 390. Every detail was carefully thought out. The Marex team worked closely with VOM Creations and Alpha Engineering, paying special attention to creating a more open and comfortable space. The new 390 has a hull with variable geometry (V-shaped) and an innovative design that guarantees excellent stability, efficiency and performance on the water. Long, elegant windows run along the hull, adding a fresh and sophisticated profile.
Marex has always prioritized functional design. Wide side walkways, plenty of handrails – every detail is made for easy and safe movement for the whole family. Marex’s signature Smart Canopy System remains a key feature. The benches on the Marex 390 swim platform serve a dual function: they serve as a beach club and ample storage for fenders, lines and water toys. The new transparent cockpit door lets in more light, facilitates docking in port and maintains contact with the sea. The side curtains can be deployed in seconds, allowing the boat to adapt to different weather conditions. The Marex 390 offers two spacious dining areas: one in the open cockpit and one in the closed saloon. In the cockpit, the U-shaped settee extends to provide an additional seat to starboard, comfortably seating up to eight people around a table.
The updated saloon features a more spacious layout, promoting a more open and sociable atmosphere. The reversible backrest transforms the area into a U-shaped dining area around the table. When positioned backwards, the seat is created for a co-pilot. A folding table completes the package, offering a practical workspace. A large sliding door combined with a retractable window allows the saloon and cockpit to become one continuous space, ideal for socialising with family and friends.
The Marex 390 will be available with several engine options. Owners will be able to choose between single or twin sterndrives, and soon also shaft drive. Fuel and water tanks have a large capacity, making the boat ideal for long cruises at cruising speeds. For added convenience, a new side door on the helm side provides easy access to the side deck, making docking maneuvers easier and improving ventilation on board.
