The debut of the wallytender48X from Wally. Innovation and style

Share:

This new model is a continuation of the successful wallytender line, but with multiple improvements that make it even more powerful and functional. The boat is 14.86 meters long and features an open deck across the entire width of the hull of 4.39 m with a spacious cockpit and a minimalist interior that emphasizes technology and style. The package includes folding bulwarks that extend the swim platform, ideal for relaxing while at anchor. Another important feature is the retractable ladder at the stern, which also functions as a ladder.

The deck layout has been carefully designed to provide comfort for family and friends, there is spacious seating and sun loungers, an outdoor dining area and a fully equipped galley. The cockpit seats can be adjusted to face forward or towards the dining area, providing the best possible view both when underway and when at anchor.

A remote-controlled anchor system (located under the hatch on the deck) was developed especially for the wallytender48X. The anchor is completely retractable into the hull, and does not disturb the boat’s clean and simple lines. The model is equipped with four outboard engines of the latest generation Mercury Verado 450 hp. This propulsion system, combined with the lightness and stability of the hull made of composite materials and carbon fiber, allowed to achieve excellent results: high top speed and low fuel consumption with a significant cruising range. Sea trials have demonstrated a top speed of over 54 knots, a cruising speed of 36 knots and a range of 340 miles. With its outstanding performance, the wallytender48X is ideal for people with a dynamic lifestyle.

Whether you choose day trips or longer cruises, the spacious and elegant below deck accommodation, with carbon fiber floors, furniture and teak paneling, guarantees uncompromising comfort. It is also worth noting that the outboard engines reduce the minimum draft to 70 cm at full load with the engines raised, making the wallytender48X an ideal boat for shallow water cruising.

In addition to the performance benefits, the outboard engines make the wallytender48X lightweight and easy to maintain. With the engines located on the outside of the hull, additional storage space is freed up in the stern. Like the inboard model, the wallytender48X is equipped with an easy-to-use joystick, making maneuvering easy.

Typically, in outboard yachts, access from the stern can be difficult due to the size of the engines. This is not the case with the wallytender48X, where Wally has managed to design a twin engine layout on each side to provide easy access to the boat from both the water and the dock, thanks to the placement of a hydraulic gangway/ladder in the middle of the boat.

Wally is proud to have created this outboard version of the wallytender48, while maintaining its strong aesthetic personality and the practical solutions that made the inboard model a success: while still offering high speed and exceptional performance to satisfy outboard customers.
