TURQUOISE ‘RAZAN’. ORIENTAL HUE

Share:

Turquoise’s newest yacht is not just a successful experience in building a yacht in the 45-50 meter category, but also a great example of living space organization. The Turkish shipyard, using the example of ‘Razan’, offers the art of creating such an interior in which there are no unnecessary things, complex decor and harmony reigns.

The new 47m vessel is an important historical milestone in the evolution of Turquoise Yachts. It was ‘Razan’ that became the first yacht of a Turkish manufacturer. In tandem with London-based design studio H2 Yacht Design, which has over 30 years of experience in concept development, the interior design and naval architecture have been developed.

The swift steel hull with aluminum superstructure is endowed with clean lines, embodying timeless design and grace. And a small draft of 2.6 meters, combined with a cruising range of 4,200 nautical miles, makes it possible to conquer shallow waters and make fairly long transitions.

Good planning has made it possible to create quite impressive spaces on the open decks on the Razan. For example, a beach club with a reclining bathing platform allows you to provide an excellent vacation for the whole company. A continuation of the open beach is a covered area where a small gym has been placed. In turn, the open fore area of the upper deck is allocated for the storage of tenders, jet skis and a rescue rib. In addition, it was equipped with a compact beam crane for convenient launching of any of the boats or jet skis.

Cleverly adding to the appeal of the 47-meter ‘Razan’ model is the flexible and functional layout of the interior of the main deck. To implement original solutions and form an interesting interior, the designers chose a modern style with light oriental notes in decor items and subtle patterns. So, the salon is a bright zone where you want to return again and again. Unusual slightly “littered” windows fill the entire space with natural light and create a feeling of unity with the surrounding landscapes due to excellent visibility. Here, three wide sofas, complemented by a pair of armchairs, will allow the whole family to gather at any time. All the backs of sofas and armchairs are specially made low so as not to block the views from the window.

Undoubtedly, the owner’s master suite occupies the tidbit of the deck, stretching across the full beam of the yacht in front of the main saloon and atrium. The first impression of this cabin is peace, tranquility and harmony. The central place is given under a large double bed, opposite it is a television panel, under which a fancy chest of drawers with a pair of deep armchairs comfortably nestled. A small ottoman near the portholes will allow you to comfortably sit down while reading a book. The chosen color scheme creates a feeling of “soft” walls and ceiling, which you just want to touch, which is very typical of all oriental interiors. The final touch of the composition is a myriad of ceiling LED strips, raster lamps and bedside sconces that form a soft, slightly muted yellowish light.

The upper deck has an elegant day saloon and dining area, in no way inferior in its decoration to the main deck. It is here that unlimited opportunities open up for relaxing while watching your favorite movies, and here you can also indulge in the process of computer games.

The sundeck of the boat is the perfect sunbed during the daytime, but as soon as the sun sets, it immediately transforms into a great party area. There is enough free space on the sun deck for lovers of shade under the visor, and those who prefer sunbathing. The entire bow part of the deck is occupied by Jacuzzi and a circular sofa, and in the central part of the deck, the lounge bar will be indispensable for any noisy party for a large number of guests.

The full-size bathroom is divided into two separate spaces for guests – for “him” and for “her”. In addition to the standard set in the form of a shower, a bathtub and the necessary amenities, a steam cabin has been built in here. The decoration of the bathroom is made using snow-white marble and light onyx.

The lower deck is reserved for the guest area: two spacious VIP, a pair of double standard cabins and space for crew rest. The color scheme of the cabins is different: VIPs are made in soft coral shades, while standard suites are designed with a predominance of rich blue tones. Cabins are “immersed” in Italian and Turkish marble, the finest leather dressing and long-haired Turkish carpets. Curly ceiling panels, as conceived by designers, are designed to imitate the disturbed surface of the water surface. A good solution in each of the cabins was the presence of an extra bed in the form of a full-size folding sofa. This will provide flexibility and convenience for receiving guests, for example with children. In addition, the captain’s cabin of a fairly large size is located in close proximity to the wheelhouse on the upper deck. If necessary, it can be used as an additional guest cabin.

The main elements of the decor are delicate milky leather, dark wood inserts and steel polished to a shine. The main salon of the yacht smoothly flows into the dining area with an elegant table for 12 people. All its decoration is subordinated to a single goal – the formation of a cozy atmosphere to replenish strength and energize for the whole day.

The multi-level ceiling creates the illusion of a three-dimensional vault. The natural lighting of the hall here is skillfully complemented by a chandelier in the form of huge concentric circles with a myriad of point lighting elements. In the central part of the yacht there is an unusual ivory marble spiral staircase, made in the manner of an internal light courtyard – an atrium. It connects the upper, main and lower decks, uniting them into a single ensemble. Magnificent marble with light veins and plays in the rays of light. A sense of home is given to the space by the stair railing, which was decorated with soft, creamy Italian leather.
