Limousine or tender?
The British company Falcon Tenders, specializing in the production of tenders (escort boats) for superyachts, announced a new line of custom Gladius limousine tenders.
Design studio Sturge & Toth, which created their appearance and interior concept, tried to combine “the tradition of Venetian gentleman’s tenders and the attributes of modern luxury superyacht tenders.” But the naval architecture will be developed by the bureau All Seas Design.
The first model in the series will be a 10-meter electric model called Gladius Gullwing Limousine. Its streamlined shapes The Gladius borrows from sports cars. The open helm station is located near the bow to leave it as as much space as possible for the cabin, designed for 12 passengers. The interior layout will be determined by the customer. Default in It has seats with comfortable armrests. While you’re on the road, you’ll be able to watch movies on multiple high-definition screens permissions. The glazed curved walls of the cabin rise up like the doors of a supercar. They go down inside via a convenient folding ladder. Each interior is decorated individually using exclusive materials.
The Gladius Gullwing limousine will be able to reach a maximum speed of 35 knots when using a hybrid power plant, but at “electric speed” it can accelerate to only 9 knots. Battery capacity is 50 kW.
Luxury designer boats measuring 9.5 and 10 meters will be designed to accompany 80 meter yachts, and externally will repeat the style of the main vessel. Their deliveries are planned for 2023-2024.
