Riva 82′ Diva. Experiments with infinity
Renowned Italian shipyard Riva completes the brand’s flybridge yacht range, which includes the Riva 90′ Argo, Riva 102′ Corsaro Super, Riva 110′ Dolcevita and Riva 130′ Bellissima. The first boat of the new series of flybridge yachts, the 25m Riva 82′ Diva, has already been launched at La Spezia in Italy.
The 82′ Diva project was designed by Mauro Micheli and Sergio Beretta, founders of Officina Italiana Design, in collaboration with the engineering department of the Ferretti Group. The team has given the yacht a 40 square meter flybridge, the largest ever for Riva yachts of this size. Due to this size, each living area on the Riva 82′ Diva flybridge has its own dedicated space.
The spacious saloon with dining area and bar is protected by a sleek carbon fiber hardtop with glass panels.Next is the sunbathing area.Aft of the main deck is a beach club with two large bulwarks that fold down to form side terraces, increasing the deck’s width by three meters. In the center of the beach club, under a large terrace, there is a garage that can accommodate a tender up to 3.45 m long and a seabob.
On the lower deck are living areas that can accommodate up to eight guests.Four cabins are provided for them: three guest cabins with bathrooms and a full-beam owner’s cabin. They also took care of the crew – the cabins for the crew, and these are two separate suites with three beds, are located in the central part of the deck.Access to them is carried out through a special passage on the side of the superstructure.
The Riva 82′ Diva has a total length of over 25 meters and a maximum width of over 6 meters. Owners can choose a pair of MAN V12 1800 engines for a top speed of 29 knots and a cruising speed of 26, or two MAN V12 1900 engines for a top speed of 31 knots and a cruising speed of 27 (preliminary data provided by the shipyard).
The first hull of the Riva 82′ Diva will make its official debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival in September this year.
