The European debut of the 15-metre Sessa Marine F48

With summer approaching, Sessa Marine has introduced the F48 flybridge model to the European market. The new model combines elegance, comfort and excellent performance, and promises to redefine the cruising experience for European boat lovers.
The presentation of the F48 project took place a little earlier, at the São Paulo Boat Show and the Miami International Boat Show 2024. And for the European market, the shipyard organized an official premiere during an exclusive event on Lake Iseo in Italy.
The F48 is not just a boat: it is the embodiment of Italian sophistication, specially created for tropical adventures. With an exterior designed to accommodate up to 16 passengers, this proposal from Sessa Marine appeals to those looking for the perfect combination of style and functionality for their sea trips. Inspired by the famous Sessa F47, the F48 boasts enhanced features specifically designed for tropical climates to provide an unforgettable cruising experience.
The most noticeable changes are in the aft area, where the swim platform has become much larger, while the cockpit, sheltered from the sun by the overhang of the flybridge, now features an L-shaped settee and fold-out table, allowing for dining for six to eight people. Open doors to the cockpit allow the saloon to be connected to two layout options: with the galley on the port side in the centre and a settee to the starboard side, or vice versa, with the lounge on the port side and an enlarged galley located to the starboard side at the entrance.
A second seating area has been installed on the flybridge, with a dining table, bar, stove, sink and refrigerator. The helm station is duplicated here, surrounded by sun pads that wrap around it to the left and in front of the instrument panel. The sun and rain can be protected by a regular bimini top or, optionally, a black T-top, which is mounted on a central fiberglass pylon and supported at the corners by four stainless steel posts.
There are three guest cabins inside: a master with a double bed and two twins. Closer to the stern on the starboard side there is a room where you can arrange a cabin for the crew, or use it as a storeroom if the owner intends to steer the boat himself.
The F48’s propulsion system has become more powerful: two 550-horsepower Volvo IPS 700 engines allow a maximum speed of 35 knots, compared to 32 knots for the F47.
Débora Felipe, Marketing and Communications Director at Sessa Marine, sums it up: “We strive to surprise and inspire with innovations that embody the marine lifestyle through elegance and cutting-edge technology. The launch of the F48 in Europe reflects Sessa’s commitment to offering truly unique on-board experiences.”
