Unmanned boat with drones from Enata
Enata Group has developed a military version of its 10-meter hydrofoil called Foiler USV. Enata Marine, a division of the international Enata group Group, specialized in the production of equipment, is expanding its boundaries in the maritime sector. In 2018, the first flying yacht, Foiler, wowed the industry with its avant-garde design and W-shaped keel. Manufacturers have offered owners an amazing combination of sporty handling, impressive cruising and top speed, unsurpassed efficiency and comfort 1.5 m above the sea surface. This means that the Foiler USV inherits all the proven characteristics of the original model, including a high top speed of over 40 knots, cruising speed up to 30 knots and increased stabilityprovided by wings that keep the platform moving and serve as shock absorbers, reducing dependence on gyroscope And the fuel reserve is enough for 1079 nautical miles. The armored boat can be controlled remotely or launched autonomously. It will be possible to place reconnaissance drones on board. As Enata writes, Using drone boats, it is quite possible to build a system for patrolling a large area. This provides high flexibility for operational deployment, especially in combined with the ability to equip the ship with various types of drones (unmanned aerial vehicles), as well as sound and light guns, ballistic networks and other surveillance equipment. And because the Foiler operates regardless of weather conditions, with seas up to Force 5, the Foiler USV has a wide range of operational capabilities.
The Foiler USV is currently in production, and Enata plans to introduce the finished boat in late 2023 or early 2024.
