The Saxdor 460 GTC will be shown publicly for the first time during the boot Düsseldorf 2026 boat show, which runs from January 17 to 25, positioning the model as a headline reveal for Saxdor at one of the industry’s most influential winter events.
For Saxdor Yachts, the 460 GTC represents a deliberate scale-up rather than a change of direction. The model builds on lessons learned from the Saxdor 400 series, carrying forward the same emphasis on owner operation, protected cruising, and adaptable deck layouts, while adding volume and features typically associated with larger yachts.
According to the yard, the brief was not to produce a simple size increase, but to reinterpret its established design approach on a broader platform. That thinking places the 460 GTC at the top of Saxdor’s current lineup and signals how the brand intends to develop as it moves into higher length categories.
Central to the 460 GTC is its closed-open wheelhouse concept. Designed for year-round use, the fully enclosed helm and saloon space remains visually and physically connected to the exterior decks, maintaining circulation from bow to stern on the boat.
Dual side doors flank the wheelhouse, opening directly onto the side decks and allowing the interior to function as part of the outdoor living area in fair conditions. Forward, the galley sits close to the helm, reinforcing the sociable, owner-driven layout that Saxdor has favored across its range.
A distinctive two-part door system links the wheelhouse to the foredeck lounge. The upper section lifts and slides into the roof, while the lower panel hinges open, creating a wide, direct passage to the bow seating area. Aft, a half-height window and a port-side door connect the saloon to the cockpit, drawing light into the interior while keeping the transition between spaces straightforward.
The exterior layout of the yacht continues Saxdor’s focus on practical outdoor areas that support long days on the water. The 460 GTC features fold-down terraces that form what the builder describes as its largest water-level platforms to date in this size range.
When deployed, the terraces expand the usable beam at anchor and frame the cockpit as an open platform close to the sea. New layout options across this area allow owners to configure seating and lounging zones to suit their cruising style, whether that means relaxed afternoons at anchor or hosting guests alongside.
The aft deck has also been reworked, with modular arrangements intended to provide greater flexibility for dining, socializing, or open deck use. These changes reflect Saxdor’s broader shift toward boats designed as shared spaces rather than strictly performance-oriented dayboats.
Despite the increase in size, Saxdor has placed emphasis on maintaining accessible performance and manageable handling. The 460 GTC will be offered with a wide range of Mercury outboard configurations, starting with triple V8 300hp engines and extending to twin V12 600hp installations.
